I do a comprehensive records review and initial assessment of the evidence presented. Some of the records reviewed are listed below. I also tend to look for records that have been "left out" or overly redacted.

I enjoy testifying. I found this out about myself early in my career as a CPS social worker. I enjoy testifying as an expert or as a percipient witness. I value the deposition and courtroom experience on every case.

Children and Family Services/Child Protective Services are governed by Federal Guidelines and have the same fundamental standards driving their policies and procedures, despite varying degrees of policy implementation in each county or state.
I have been retained in over 25 states. Despite the varying differences in each state, there are commonalities, both good and bad. I enjoy delving into each state and each case.
